For extra accommodation, depending on availability, the apartment can be booked in conjunction with the apartment the Bevan 4 Apartment which is directly above. Albert Park sits between Port Melbourne on Port Phillip Bay to the north and Middle Park with its stunning park and lake to the south. Access instructions will be provided on confirmation of your reservation. CARS AND PARKING Free all day car parking on the street is available using the Visitors Permit provided. There is usually a parking spot right out front of the home in Bevan Street. There is no onsite parking available. The Visitors Permit can be found on the mantlepiece in the Living Room. The Visitors Permits must be placed on the cars dashboard when in use. The permit must be returned when leaving. A fee of $300 will be charged if the Visitors Parking Permit is lost, stolen or not returned. CAR HIRE There are many car hire service providers with nearby branches. that can be located by searching online. Try Budget, Hertz, Axis or Sixt. Go Get is an online car pooling service that offer a flexible, cost effective alternative to car hire and ownership in Melbourne. Download the App, sign up and find a car located on the street somewhere near you. You can also drive yourself with Uber Carshare. Rent a car by the hour, day, week or longer. Flexible pricing lets you choose the time and distance you need. You only pay when you need a car. Get started with a few basic details and your ID. Tap, book and drive all from the Uber Carshare app. TAXIS AND UBER. There are always plenty of taxis in the area. If you need one call 1300TAXI. Uber is recommended. You can request a taxi ride and can be picked up minutes later by an independent driver with users paying in advance by credit card. You can even keep track of the approaching ride via live mapping. It's a great service at competitive prices. Download the Uber App. TRAMS Less than 4 kilometers from the city, Albert Park is well served by the No. 1 Tram which runs right past the end of the street. At the other end is the No. 96 Light Rail which is one of Melbourne's premier tourist routes and the No. 12 is only minutes away in Clarendon Street. Trams depart roughly every ten minutes. The city is about 20 minutes away and St.Kilda only 6 minutes away by tram. There are also electric bikes nearby that can be hired locally using the Melbourne Bike Share App, Lime. NO PARTIES Parties are strictly not permitted at the property at any time under any circumstances. NOISE Guests are required to be respectful of neighbors. Noise must be kept to a minimum and no amplified music after 10pm. Please be mindful of neighbours and keep the noise down when outside at night and when it gets late, move inside and shut the door. SMOKING The house is smoke free. Guests may smoke outside in the courtyards and on the balcony. PETS Well behaved pets are welcome. Guests must keep their pets quiet and under control at all times. Pets must be kept off the furniture and beds. Guests are responsible for their pets, their waste and any damage caused. BARBEQUE An electric barbeque is provided on the rooftop terrace for guests use and enjoyment. Guests are required to clean the barbeque after use. A fee of $200 will be charged if the barbeque is not left in a clean condition on departure. KEYS Make sure to return the keys on departure. A fee of $200 will be charged if the remote control are not returned. PARKING PERMIT There is a $200 fee if the Parking Permit is lost, stolen or not returned. CANCELATION POLICY To receive a full refund, guests must cancel within 48 hours of booking, and the cancellation must occur at least 14 days before check-in. If guests cancel 14 or more days before check-in but not within 48 hours of booking, you’ll be refunded 50% for all nights. If guests cancel between 7 and 14 days before check-in, you’ll be refunded 50% for all nights. If guests cancel within 7 days of arrival there is no refund. Cleaning Fees will be fully refunded.
